Motortown by Simon Stephens
9 February, 7pm, Post Show Q&A
12 February, 7pm, Captioned Performance
Motortown follows Danny, a young soldier returned from war to a home that feels more hostile than the battlefield he left behind. As he journeys through a landscape of fractured relationships, violent impulses, and desperate connections, his story becomes a darkly compelling examination of dislocation, masculinity, and the search for meaning in a world spinning out of control.
Simon Stephens’ razor-sharp writing cuts straight to the bone. Stark, unsettling, and fiercely relevant, Motortown is a gripping descent into the heart of a man, and a society, on the edge.
