Salary: £32,000
Contract type: full time
Closing date: Friday 25 September, 5pm

The Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and organised communications professional to join the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), one of the world's leading drama schools. Working within a busy and collaborative Communications and Marketing team, the Communications and Marketing Officer will play a key role in promoting RADA's productions, public events, student initiatives and wider academy activities.

The role spans digital marketing, content creation, social media management, website publishing and email marketing, offering variety and the chance to make a visible impact across multiple audiences. You'll lead the day-to-day management of RADA's social channels, create engaging content for campaigns, coordinate marketing activity for productions and events, and deliver effective e-marketing campaigns, including RADA's popular What's On communications.

Working closely with colleagues across the Academy, including Productions, Development and Box Office teams, you'll help bring RADA's stories to life, attract audiences and support student recruitment and engagement. You'll also monitor and evaluate campaign performance, using insight and data to inform future activity.

We're looking for a strong communicator with excellent copywriting skills, digital marketing experience and a passion for creating engaging content. An interest in theatre, performance and the arts would be a distinct advantage. Above all, you'll be collaborative, proactive and committed to supporting RADA's values of inclusion, equity and artistic excellence.
