Based on the real-life court case of a naval cadet unjustly accused of stealing a five shilling postal order, The Winslow Boy is one of Rattigan’s most celebrated works.
When Cadet Ronnie Winslow is expelled from his naval college, his father, Arthur, takes the Admiralty to court, jeopardising the family’s social standing and taking a devastating toll on each member of the Winslow family.
Period drama The Winslow Boy is produced with support from The Terence Rattigan Society in the GBS Theatre, Malet Street.
This amateur production of The Winslow Boy is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd.
