Shakespeare for Young Audiences: Richard II by William Shakespeare
30 June, 7.30pm, Captioned Performance
75 minutes of fast-paced Shakespeare.
RADA presents Shakespeare for Young Audiences: abridged plays brought to life for young people (15+) as well as anyone, of any age, who wants to get swept up in a high energy Shakespeare production.
When a king begins to lose his grip on power, the whole country feels it. Richard II believes he is chosen to rule, but poor decisions and broken loyalties lead to conflict, betrayal and change. As rivals step forward and control slips away, the play explores leadership, responsibility and what makes a good ruler.
Shakespeare’s powerful history play is reimagined for young audiences by a cast and crew of current RADA students.
