This is an amateur production.

This production of In the Red and Brown Water is designed as an accessible, multi-sensory performance experience.

To support Deaf and hearing-impaired audience members, the production includes:

  • Integrated captioning throughout the performance, designed as part of the visual storytelling.
  • Seating vibration (only in select seats) allowing audiences to feel rhythm, sound, and emotional intensity through physical sensation.
  • Enhanced visual sound design, where key sonic elements are expressed through light, movement, and staging.

This approach creates a more immersive environment where sound is experienced not only through hearing, but also through visual cues and vibrations.

*Please note that if you feel you may require full captioning during the show, it is advised to book the captioned performance on the 29 May. All other performances will only be partially captioned.

If you have any access requirements or questions about attending, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@rada.ac.uk before your visit.

Bag policy
To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, we kindly ask that any bags larger than a tote bag be left in our cloakroom before entering the theatre. Our friendly team will be happy to look after them for you in our secure cloakroom, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show hassle-free. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you to RADA.

Latecomers policy
We kindly ask for your patience if you arrive after the performance has started. To minimise disruption, we have designated latecomers points, which typically allow seating between 8-15 minutes into the performance. A member of our Front of House team will inform you when it’s time to be seated. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you!
