Period drama The Winslow Boy is produced with support from Dr Holly Hill of The Terence Rattigan Society in the GBS Theatre, Malet Street from 29 May - 8 June 2024.

Based on the real-life court case of a naval cadet unjustly accused of stealing a five shilling postal order, The Winslow Boy is one of Rattigan’s most celebrated works. When Cadet Ronnie Winslow is expelled from his naval college, his father, Arthur, takes the Admiralty to court, jeopardising the family’s social standing and taking a devastating toll on each member of the Winslow family.

First staged in Brighton in 1946 and adapted for film shortly after in 1948, RADA looks forward to bringing this historic work into their buildings.

The cast and creative team features third year RADA Acting students and final year Technical Theatre and Stage Management students, working in collaboration with professionals including RADA staff and guests.

Public performances will run from Wednesday 29 May to Saturday 8 June 2024 with a post-show Q&A and captioned performance to be announced. The production will be directed by Georgia Green. Find out more here.
