Two RADA graduates have won acting awards at this year's BAFTA TV Awards, which were announced in London at the weekend.

Ben Whishaw won the second BAFTA TV Award of his career, as he was presented with Best Supporting Actor for his role as Norman Scott in the BBC's acclaimed mini-series A Very English Scandal. He won a Golden Globe for the same role earlier this year.

Fiona Shaw, in her first BAFTA Award nomination, won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Carolyn Martens in the hit series Killing Eve.

Written by graduate Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Killing Eve was nominated for 14 awards in total and won three, including Best Drama Series. The second series is currently being broadcast on BBC America, and will come to UK television screens soon.

Also nominated at this year's BAFTA TV Awards was Daisy May Cooper, who picked up a nomination for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for her role in This Country, which she co-writes with her brother Charlie. Daisy May won the award in 2018 for the same role.

Congratulations to Ben and Fiona on their awards. You can see a full list of the winners here.
