Shakespeare for Young Audiences: Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare
29 June, 7.30pm, Captioned Performance
75 minutes of fast-paced Shakespeare.
RADA presents Shakespeare for Young Audiences: abridged plays brought to life for young people (15+) as well as anyone, of any age, who wants to get swept up in a high energy Shakespeare production.
In the heat of Verona’s streets, a bitter family feud sets the stage for forbidden love. When Romeo and Juliet meet, a whirlwind of romance, rivalry and rash decisions follows, hurtling two young lovers towards a fate they cannot outrun.
Full of fiery passions, comic chaos and heartbreaking twists, Shakespeare’s timeless tragedy is reimagined for young audiences by a cast and crew of current RADA students.
