Our full-time Higher Education courses are vocational with teaching contact hours in excess of 35 per week.

The work is intensive and specialised (with specialist language) so it is important for us to work with NMH staff who have an understanding of our programmes of study and the type of work that our students are undertaking.

We work long hours and evenings/weekends so we must have flexibility from our NMH workers in order to facilitate regular one to one support.

We currently have the following NMH staff available:

  • Study Skills Tutor (SpLD)
  • Specialist Mentor (Mental Health)
  • Specialist Mentor (ASC)
  • BSL Interpreters

All of our Non-Medical Helpers comply with the DfE qualification and professional body membership requirements to deliver DSA’s fundable NMH roles.
