RADA partners with Clean Break Young Company
RADA is delighted to partner with Clean Break on the launch of its new Young Company, a pioneering training programme for young women and non-binary people aged 18–25 who have lived experience of the criminal justice system, or who are at risk of entering it.
Running from October 2025 to July 2026, the Young Company will offer participants professional training in acting and theatre-making, alongside tailored support and the opportunity to perform a newly commissioned play.
The programme brings together leading drama schools and arts organisations including LAMDA, RADA, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Mountview, and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with additional support from Roundhouse and AKTA Photography.
“We are pleased to collaborate with the Clean Break Young Company, an organisation whose commitment to creativity, inclusion, and empowerment through the arts reflects a vital part of RADA’s mission,” said Rio Hayles, Access and Participation Lead at RADA. “This partnership provides a valuable opportunity to support emerging talent, amplify diverse voices, and strengthen pathways into professional training and the wider creative industry.”
Clean Break has championed women’s voices and creativity in theatre since 1979, using performance to challenge perceptions and inspire change.
