We are delighted to celebrate the many RADA graduates whose work features across the film programme at this year's BFI London Film Festival.

From acclaimed literary adaptations and powerful dramas to moving stories of friendship, justice and community, RADA alumni continue to make a significant impact across film and television, both in the UK and internationally.

ELSINORE

One of the most anticipated films in the programme is Elsinore, directed by Simon Stone and written by RADA graduate Stephen Beresford. The film tells the remarkable story of Ian Charleson as he prepares to take on the role of Hamlet at the National Theatre while facing a terminal AIDS diagnosis.

Leading an outstanding cast is Andrew Scott, alongside fellow RADA graduates Juliet Stevenson, Luke Thompson and Jamie Bogyo.

PRIMA FACIE

The screen adaptation of Suzie Miller's award-winning play Prima Facie stars Academy Award nominee and RADA graduate Cynthia Erivo as Tessa, a successful barrister whose life changes dramatically when she finds herself navigating the legal system from the other side of the courtroom. Erivo also serves as a producer on the film.

TENDER LOVING CARE

Legendary filmmaker and RADA Honorary Fellow Mike Leigh returns with Tender Loving Care, a compassionate portrait of contemporary life in London.

Among the ensemble cast is RADA graduate Kate O'Flynn. The production also features the work of Siena Godfrey, a RADA Technical Theatre and Stage Management graduate who worked on the film as an Art Department Assistant.

FRANK AND PERCY

Adapted from the acclaimed West End production, Frank and Percy is a warm and humorous story about friendship, connection and love later in life.

The film features RADA graduate Siân Phillips alongside an exceptional ensemble cast including Roger Allam, Ian McKellen, Stephen Fry and Joanna Lumley.

MOUSE

RADA graduate Sophie Okonedo stars in the moving drama Mouse alongside Katherine Mallen Kupferer in a touching story about friendship, loss and self-discovery. The role adds to an extraordinary screen career that recently saw her recognised at the 2026 Emmy Awards.

THE IDIOT(s)

RADA graduate Aimee Lou Wood stars in The Idiot(s), a joyful and unconventional portrait of the relationship between Fyodor Dostoevsky and his wife, Anna. Wood appears alongside Johnny Flynn in the film from directors Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert.

Congratulations to all our graduates whose work is featured in this year's festival programme.
