Oscar-winning costume designer and RADA graduate Lindy Hemming, and Olivier Award-winning designer Vicki Mortimer, will be our guests for our special Conversation With... event at this year's RADA Festival on Thursday 27 June.

They will be in conversation with Director of RADA Edward Kemp, discussing their extensive careers and the art of collaboration in theatre and film.

Lindy Hemming trained at RADA on the stage management course before specialising in design, and has since amassed costume design credits on some of film's biggest franchises: Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, multiple James Bond films and, most recently, Wonder Woman and the upcoming sequel Wonder Woman 1984. In 1999 she won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design for Mike Leigh's Topsy Turvy. Her other work includes hit films Four Weddings and a Funeral, Paddington and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

Vicki Mortimer trained at the Slade School of Art and has designed extensively for theatre, opera and dance, notably at the National Theatre where her design credits include The Plough and the Stars, The Threepenny Opera, The Silver Tassie, Othello, Hamlet, Cat in the Hat, Three Sisters, The Seagull and Last of the Haussmans, as well as the critically-acclaimed Follies which won her the Olivier Award for Best Costume Design in 2018 and an Olivier nomination for Best Set Design. Her other work includes design for Emma Rice's Wise Children, the Globe's The Little Match Girl, and Fiddler on the Roof and Nine on Broadway.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to see these two talented designers sharing insights about their work, as part of this year's RADA Festival celebrating collaboration and co-creation. The event takes place at 6pm on Thursday 27 June in RADA Studios, and tickets are just £5.
