We're delighted that several RADA graduates have been nominated at this year's Golden Globes - with five out of the six graduates nominated for playing real-life roles.

Cynthia Erivo has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for her performance as the title role in Harriet, following the incredible true story of Harriet Tubman. She is also nominated for Best Original Song for 'Stand Up' from the Harriet soundtrack, which she co-wrote and performed.

In the Best Actor categories, Jonathan Pryce is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Drama for playing the future Pope Francis in The Two Popes; while Anthony Hopkins is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for playing Pope Benedict XVI in the same film.

Taron Egerton is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for playing Elton John in Rocketman, following his Hollywood Film Award for the same role last month.

In the TV categories, Tobias Menzies is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama for playing Prince Philip in Netflix's The Crown, having taken over the role for series three of the hit show.

Finally, Phoebe Waller-Bridge picks up another nomination for her performance in Fleabag, as she is up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy. Fleabag is also nominated for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. Killing Eve, which was created by Phoebe, is also nominated for Best Television Series - Drama.
