Bradford, in the month of Ramadan. Latching on to the latest grooming scandal, racists plan to march through the city, while Shaz, a local garage mechanic, desperately tries to keep his business running smoothly so he can marry well. In this combustible atmosphere, his sister Samina is determined to make her voice heard.
Bradford-born Asif Khan’s debut play is a fabulously comic take on the combustion surrounding young British Muslim lives in the North today.
The production is generously supported by Philip and Christine Carne (The Carne Trust) and Arts Council England.

The untold story of the world's first murderer.
After murdering his brother in cold blood, we meet Cain, living out his life exiled from his homeland. Afflicted by his memories and haunted by figures of the past, Cain must now retrace his steps back to Eden in pursuit of answers.
Origins is a psychological thriller that plunges deep into the heart of darkness, where movement, sound and rhythm fuse to create a physically pulsating stage adventure. Journey into the landscapes of dream and reality, and confront life's primeval questions of faith, death and immortality.
Written and Devised by members of Take Back Theatre Collective
Director: Chris Lawson
Take Back Theatre was set up by actor Julie Hesmondhalgh, writer Becx Harrison and visual artist Grant Archer, as an artistic response to the politics of austerity, commissioning urgent short script in hand pieces of theatre, reacting to social and political events. Togetherness is a series of script in hand responses to social and political events and a celebration of protest and resistance. Take Back is about coming together as an artistic community, and starting a conversation.
Created by A Ship of Fools Theatre Company
Performed by Charles Shetcliffe and Mark Winstanley
Strap in for the Captain and Raoul's playfully anarchic bouffon rollercoaster to the darkest corners of the grotto, where the mould festers under the tree.
Controversial theatre company Ship of Fools bring their unique brand of comedy to RADA festival for 2 shows only before setting sail for Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Expect danger, hilarity and horror as these Gaulier trained bouffons tap dance back and forth over the lines of decency for your pleasure and amusement. You will laugh. You will cry. You might even go home and kill yourself.
"...Masters of their craft" Porl Cooper - Slung Low.
"Ship of Fools you say? Which bloody pillock let them in here?" Herbert Beerbohm Tree
