Joy - A post coitus concert by Dina Gordon
A living ritual. A live rave. An act of revenge.
Industrial electronic music combines with old fashioned romance to make JOY; a one woman theatrical spectacle.
JOY was developed through an exploration of Strindberg's Miss Julie. Through repetitive physical improvisation a distilled version of the play was achieved and when put together into a vocabulary, revealed a new script and a new theatrical aesthetic.
There's a post coitus concert in town and the music has never been better.
