The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare

75 minutes of fast-paced Shakespeare.
RADA presents Shakespeare for Young Audiences: abridged plays brought to life for young people (15+) as well as anyone, of any age, who wants to get swept up in a high energy Shakespeare production.
Believed to be one of Shakespeare’s earlier plays, The Comedy of Errors is a classic farce of mistaken identity sprinkled with Shakespearean magic and heart.
Roughly thirty years before the play begins, Egeon, a merchant from Syracuse is separated from his wife and one of his identical twin sons during a storm, leaving only one of the twins with him.
Years later, the lost twin and his servant search for his mother and brother. Egeon then decides to search for the twins, leading him to Ephesus where he is arrested for trespassing. Over the course of the ensuing hours, both twins end up in the same town on the same day leading to a lot of confusion for all involved.
