Changeling by MA Theatre Lab
The moon grows fat and the world bursts into madness in Middleton and Rowley's Jacobean masterpiece, The Changeling. This is the inspiration for a new show, to be created by the company. Using the whole studio space as the canvas, the audience finds themselves trapped as much as the players are, inside the tragedy.

Creating the show
Cast members Victor James Wisehart and Tomás Barry spoke about their experiences devising Changeling with the company and director Gemma Brockis.
"Our ensemble of 18 actors from all over the world are bringing their life experience, artistic aesthetic, and artistic growth to the devising process. Everyday brings fresh challenges, and the opportunity to bring originality to the table.
It's wonderful to see how the past year has fed and inspired us as artists. Taking nothing for granted, each moment throughout the day in the GBS Theatre is filled with artistic offerings and explorations. There's no rule book, and it is wonderful to be given the opportunity to press the limits of our creative consciousness. At the same time, it feels so comfortable to be collaborating with such familiar company. Close-knit after an intense year in the MA Theatre Lab, we know each other's rhythms and strengths.
Of course this marks the bittersweet ending to our training together, but it also means the beginning of our new artistic journeys post-RADA.”
