Beyond the Canon
Now in its fourth year, Beyond the Canon presents a series of monologues and audition speeches for black, south Asian and middle eastern actors.
The showcase features RADA students and graduates in performances directed by ADF directors.
Texts are taken from Simeilia Hodge-Dallaway’s anthologies of inspiring material for diverse actors published by Methuen Drama. Works include contemporary international writers such as Roy Williams, Katori Hall, Nathaniel Martello-White, Rhashan Stone, Cush Jumbo and many more.
