RADA SHAKESPEARE AWARDS
Trilby read Drama at Bristol University before graduating from RADA in 1990. Theatre includes: Eurydice (Chichester Festival Theatre); The Winter’s Tale, Coriolanus (ESC, Aldwych and World Tour); The Merchant of Venice, Shakespeare’s Lovers (ESC tour); The Madras House, Orpheus (Lyric Hammersmith); Keyboard Skills (Bush); Hindle Wakes (Royal Exchange); Cigarettes and Chocolate, Bye Bye Blues, Selling Out (Stephen Joseph Theatre); Mrs Warren’s Profession (Theatre Clwyd); As You Like It (Nottingham Playhouse); The Tempest (Derby Playhouse); Three Sisters, Absent Friends, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich); Television includes: Poirot, Little Lord Fauntleroy, Casualty, Good Friday 1663, The Brokers Man, The Bill.
Since 2000, Trilby has worked as a freelance director and teacher at ALRA, Arts Educational Schools, Central School of Speech and Drama, East 15, Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and RADA where she is an Associate Teacher.
Public Productions include: As You Like It, The Tempest, The Winter’s Tale, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Merchant of Venice, King Lear, Twelfth Night, The Trojan Women, After the Rain, The Thickness of Skin, Happy Families, A Warwickshire Testimony, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, DNA, Rabbit, Motortown, Pornography, The Grace of Mary Traverse.
Rehearsed readings include: Calcutta Kosher, Pickaninny, Payback (Arcola Theatre); Pop (Tristan Bates)
She has edited two volumes of contemporary monologues for Nick Hern Books. (Published January 2014)
