RADA Shakespeare Awards
Jennifer is a theatre-maker and performance coach. She trained at RADA after studying History at Cambridge University.
As an actor Jennifer has played with companies including Shakespeare’s Globe, High Tide Festival Theatre and Cheek by Jowl. She also develops work as a writer and director. In 2014 she co-wrote and directed The Book, which premiered at York Theatre Royal before embarking on a northern tour. She is currently writing a new script, The Disappeared, set in contemporary Belfast.
Jennifer co-runs Flying Cloud Theatre where she collaborates on new artistic work and designs and delivers unique communications trainings for businesses in the UK and US.
Jennifer has extensive teaching experience having worked for over a decade with a wide variety of youth, school and adult groups in both one-off workshops and longer courses. Since 2008 she has worked for Shakespeare’s Globe’s Education Department delivering workshops on Shakespeare’s plays for numerous school groups and also taking part in the Globe and PWC’s Our Theatre project – directing school children in an adaptation of The Winter’s Tale for the Globe Stage.
Jennifer recently founded Seedbed Theatre, which creates site-specific theatre, community projects as well as supporting businesses with coaching and workshops.
