RADA in Schools
WORKSHOPS FOR STUDENTS
Our workshops focus on a range of topics that have been developed to help students with their studies and to aid their personal development. We can also sometimes offer bespoke workshops based on your specific drama needs. All workshops are run by RADA tutors, Directors, and experienced RADA graduates.
Sessions are designed to give students a deeper understanding of basic drama techniques which can be transferred into other areas of their work and life. Outcomes include:
- bringing the English language to life
- stimulating ideas and thoughts
- developing team skills
- developing an understanding of human emotions
- increased confidence.
Workshops available include:
- Acting Technique
- Classical Text (with a focus on Shakespeare)
- Contemporary Text
- Movement (including Laban, Animal work, and Character study)
- Presentation Skills
Workshops are for up to 16 students per group and are run as either a three-hour half day, or a six-hour full day. If these times do not suit your requirements, we can also tailor the length of a workshop to fit within your timetable.
Prior to all workshops, the workshop facilitator will contact you to discuss your objectives and student needs. A detailed plan will be prepared and agreed with you before the session.
Please feel free to get in touch with us about any of our activities and to join our schools mailing list.
