FEES AND FUNDING
Tuition fees for UK/EU students applying for the PgDip in Theatre Costume have not yet been decided for 2017-18 but will be no less than £6,200. Please keep checking the website for confirmation of the 2017-18 fees. We aim to do this as soon as possible. Fees are set by the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD) but applications are direct to the school, not through UCAS.
Information about the fees for UK/EU students and the financial support available through the Conservatoire's Scholarship Scheme and through Government grants and loans can be found on the Conservatoire's website
UK and EU FEES
As noted above, these will be not less than £6,200. Unfortunately, this course does not qualify for a Postgraduate Loan through the Student Loans Company but UK and EU students are eligible for RADA Scholarship support (see below for more information).
OVERSEAS TUITION FEES
Non-EU international students are required to pay the full cost of their fee and living costs and made an offer of the basis of paying privately. However, all funding issues are discussed individually with each student once an offer has been made. Fees for 2017-18 have yet to be agreed, but will not be less than £17,700. Further information about fee rates for non-EU international students will be available from RADA and on the Conservatoire website, once agreed. Please check our website regularly for updates.
As explained above, this course does not qualify for a Postgraduate Loan through the Student Loans Company. Students may be eligible to apply for a Career Development Loan which is available to all UK/EU students except those on the RADA Foundation Course in Acting. For more alternative sources of funding visit the CDD website.
RADA is committed to making its training available to students from all backgrounds and raises over £300,000 annually towards its Scholarship Fund. Once you have gained a place at RADA, if you are a UK/EU student, you will be invited to apply for a RADA Scholarship. You apply to RADA to be considered and scholarships are available both for tuition fees and living expenses. Scholarships are offered on the basis of talent, potential and financial need, with the majority of awards going to students with an assessed family income of less than £42,600. This includes scholarships for students who already hold a degree from another institution.
