Having been screened at the Aesthetica Short Film Festival in November 2016, Impact will now be shown at the Chelmsford Film Festival, which takes place from 7-10 June 2017. The festival screens a selection of the best international short films, music videos and documentaries to celebrate film culture, alongside a programme of industry talks and workshops.
Impact was written by Ursula Rani Sarma and directed by Edward Hicks, with a cast of RADA graduates from 2015.
The same creative team are behind Gloria, which features a cast of 2016 graduates and has also been selected for another festival. It will be screened at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival (UMFF) in Lawrenceville and Atlanta, Georgia. The UMFF celebrates global independent film-makers, with a focus on promoting diverse content and creators. Gloria has previously been screened at the Riverbend Film Festival and the DOCF Annual Legacy of Black Women Film Showcase.
