RADA MA Theatre Lab alumni prove their international worth, with recent graduates causing a stir in different languages and different locations around the world.
In New York, 2014 graduate Isaac Bush was awarded a New York Innovative Theater Award, which celebrates Off-Off-Broadway theatre. Bush won in the Outstanding Choreography/Movement category for his production The Mountain, which was presented at The Circle Theater of New York.
The Mountain grew out of an exercise that the MA Theatre Lab group developed for choreographer Jüri Nael in 2013 as part of their physical performance module. The production was also nominated in the Outstanding Original Music category.
See Bush accepting his award below.
Bush will be next seen in the title role in Zach Braff’s All New People at Théâtre des Capucins in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg, next year.
Back in the UK, 2015 graduate Jeffrey Ho will be appearing as part of immersive theatre company Reuben Feels.
Sponsored by Red Bull and created exclusively for them, Become The Night invites the audience to explore the streets of Soho. Tickets were by competition only and Ho will be playing the part of an underground leader of a London/Chinese triad in a multi-lingual role.
