The nominees have been announced for this year's Olivier Awards, with several RADA graduates in the running.

In the acting categories, Indira Varma is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Liz in the Old Vic's acclaimed production of Present Laughter, which is nominated for Best Revival and also featured graduate Kitty Archer.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is nominated for Best Actress for her hit one-woman show Fleabag, which she also wrote and which is nominated for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play. The show played in the West End last summer with lighting design by Elliot Griggs.

Also nominated for Best Actress is Juliet Stevenson, shortlisted for her lead role in The Doctor at the Almeida Theatre, which toured to the Adelaide Festival and has a planned West End transfer in 2021.

The acclaimed new play Emilia, directed by graduate Nicole Charles, is also nominated for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play; the cast included graduates Saffron Coomber and Sophie Stone, and Amelia Jane Hankin was assistant designer.

In the category for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre, nominations include Baby Reindeer, which had lighting design by Peter Small and video design by Ben Bull; and seven methods of killing kylie jenner, whose two-person cast included graduate Tia Bannon.

The winners of this year's Special Recognition Award were previously announced and will include RADA graduate and Honorary Fellow Thelma Holt.
