Biography

Geoff Bullen has directed extensively both in the commercial and subsidised theatre. He was Associate Director of Theatre Centre and has worked with numerous other companies in educational theatre. He has generated projects in Adult Education Performing Arts, designed a Community Arts Management training programme for Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture and is a regular speaker for the Leadership Centre for Local Government. He is a translator, adaptor and the author of numerous plays on social issues for schools. His most recent productions include Cavalleria Rusticana and Tosca for Magdala Opera, Beside Picasso (Brian McAvera) for AJTC, Chaplin (Pip Utton), the premiere of David Rudkin's Red Sun, Little Women - The Musical at RADA, and The Tempest at the Stadsschouwburg in Amsterdam, and All's Well That Ends Well at The Cleveland Playhouse, Ohio. His production of On The Black Hill for AJTC is currently on tour.
