v&a performance day

RADA is taking part in a Performance Day at the V&A in association with the museum’s Create! programme.  This programme offers workshops, courses and careers focussed events to young people, enabling them to learn new skills as well as receiving guidance on career paths from professionals working in the creative industries.

The performance day takes place on Saturday 03 March from 2pm and provides the opportunity for young people to attend workshops and talks run by RADA staff, students and graduates.   RADA will be offering advice on how to get into theatre and working backstage as well as specific workshops focusing on lighting and set design.

The event is specifically designed for 13-19 years olds with an interest in theatre, both on and stage and performance.  All events and talks are free.  For more information on the day and details of how to book, please visit the V&A website.

The Woman In White

By Wilkie Collins

The John Lewis Partnership Dramatic Society return once more to RADA, to stage one of literature’s finest gothic novels, The Woman in White. Our stage adaptation will be directed by Guy Fairbank, who last year directed 84 Charing Cross Road, and The Hound of the Baskervilles in 2010.

Sir Percival Glyde is being hounded for money by his old friend, the sinister Count Fosco, so his marriage to the heiress Laura Fairlie is for one reason only: her fortune. As events unfold, Glyde’s efforts to secure the money and also to remove the threat to his reputation posed by the unfortunate Anne Catherick, who is physically identical to Laura become more desperate and cruel.

Please note: This is not a RADA production.
