RADA in Schools
SCHOOL TOURS PROJECTThe tours provide the opportunity for central London schools to host a free production performed by RADA’s second year acting students, and/or to bring a group of pupils to the Academy to see a production performed in the Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre. The plays take place towards the end of the summer term. If you are interested in having your school host one of our 2nd Year productions, or would like to bring a group of your pupils in to see one of the plays next year please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS
In spring 2012 RADA is launching a teacher training programme which is an intensive training course aimed specifically at teachers of A Level/BTEC drama, and theatre studies.
The workshop runs over a day and a half. On the first day you will observe a directing masterclass that focuses on the work of an early 19th century playwright. On the second day you will be involved in a practical workshop where, along with the other teachers in your sub-group, you will work through the principles that were explored during the masterclass. |
