Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm

COURSE DETAILS

An intensive, hands-on week long course in the equipment and techniques involved in translating the stage designer’s requirements from sketch, illustration or model to the real thing (or what appears to be the real thing) using such skills as modelling, carving and upholstery. Demonstrations of the skills involved in the making of stage properties by RADA’s teaching staff will be followed by the opportunity to practise them for yourselves.

This will involve the use of RADA’s fully equipped props workshop.

The course is aimed at those who want to explore this highly practical and multi-faceted area of theatre work, picking up a variety of skills which can be further developed and expanded.
