BA (Hons) in ActingFEES AND FUNDING
Fees are set by the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama (CDD). Information about the fees for UK/EU students and the financial support available through the Conservatoire’s Scholarship Scheme and through Government grants and loans can be found on the Conservatoire’s website: UK FEESUK/EU fees are £9,000 per year RADA can, in exceptional circumstances, offer places to students who already hold a higher education qualification and are classified as ‘ELQs’ (equivalent or lower qualifications). We believe that such graduates are an important part of the student body. In 2010-11 fees for ELQ students are the same as for UK/EU but this is subject to confirmation for 2011-12. OVERSEAS FEESNon-EU international students will be required to pay the full cost of their tuition. Fees for 2012 have yet to be agreed but will not be less than £16,200 Please note that RADA and the Conservatoire reserve the right to alter the exact amount payable for all their courses prior to enrolment. ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATIONS FOR TUITION FEE DISCOUNTS
Applicants need to indicate on the application form to RADA if they wish to be considered for a fee discount from the Conservatoire. In order to qualify you must have applied for income assessed FINANCIAL ASSISTANCESTUDENT LOANSHome and EU students new to higher education can apply to Student Finance England / Wales, NI, or Student Awards Agency Scotland for a loan to cover their fees and be assessed for a maintenance grant depending on their personal or family income. Students who already have a degree are not eligible for maintenance loans and will need funding from other sources to pay for their living expenses. Graduates may be eligible to apply for a Career Development Loan which is available to all UK/EU students except those on the RADA Foundation course. CONSERVATOIRE FOR DANCE AND DRAMA BURSARIESUK students who are eligible for an income assessed government maintenance grant through Student Finance England may also be eligible for a Conservatoire bursary. Please refer to the CDD website for further details of eligibility. RADA SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIESThe Academy runs an ongoing fundraising campaign to enable scholarships and bursary awards to students in genuine financial need. Scholarship/bursary funding through the Academy is only available to students on the full time, accredited, HE funded courses and is awarded following an internal financial assessment undertaken by RADA.
